We have begun a mini-unit on apples. We started by turning and talking to our partner and telling them what we knew about apples and asking them questions we had about them. We made a chart of our questions about apples. We have begun to read non-fiction and fiction books about apples. On Tuesday, we made applesauce and "stained glass" apples for our windows. We also read "10 Apples Up On Top" by Dr. Seuss and practiced counting and grouping 1-5. We are going to continue learning about apples next week.

Mrs. LucianiWelcome to my page! I've been teaching Kindergarten in Albany for 7 years. I love to take photographs and capture our learning and finally created a place to share it. Enjoy! Archives
